Description |
Fig. 9 (A) Cannabis plants growing in an indoor facility close to harvest. (B) Quantification of molds present in air samples in an indoor growing facility over a six-week period. In week two, plants were established in the growing room. Petri dishes containing PDA+S were exposed for 60 minutes to ambient conditions and brought back to the laboratory. Colony-forming units of fungal species were assessed after five to seven days. The five fungal general present are indicated. Data are means +/− standard errors from 12 replicate dishes. (C) Quantification of molds present in air samples in a greenhouse growing facility over a four-week period, from the time plants were established in week one. Petri dishes containing PDA+S were exposed for 60 minutes to ambient conditions and brought back to the laboratory. Colony-forming units of fungal species were assessed after five to seven days. The three main fungal genera present are indicated. A few colonies of Aspergillus and Epicoccum were also observed (data not shown). Data are the means +/− standard errors from three repeated experiments. |
