Bika LIMS

Bika LIMS is a free laboratory information management system (LIMS) solution released under a GNU general public license. Bika Lab Systems sells customization, hosting, and support services for Bika LIMS users who wish more out of their LIMS.[1]

Bika LIMS is a free open-source application. For more about Bika's general public license and free nature, please reference Bika's website.

Like the majority of open-source businesses, Bika derives its income from support and other services, which are currently not published. However, Bika LIMS is also available as a SaaS hosted subscription, with a one-time setup fee of around $3,000 and a monthly subscription starting at $450, increasing with more users, samples, etc. Pricing is primarily by number of analyses.
