NEMO is a free open-source resource scheduling and tracking solution for nanofabrication laboratories in particular, though the software can be used by a wide variety of labs in general.[1]
Product history
NEMO (NanoFab Equipment Management & Operations) was first developed in roughly 2013 by the National Institute of Standards and Technology's (NIST's) Center for Nanoscale Science and Technology (CNST) to make the reservation, management, and support of nanofabrication resources easier for the lab.[3] The software was released as free and open-source software on January 8, 2018[3][2] by NIST, who added, "We hope the nanofabrication community will be excited about the release of this software, and we look forward to sharing it."[3] The software has received steady updates since its release.
