University of British Columbia, commonly referred to as UBC, is a public research university with campuses and facilities in Vancouver and Okanagan, British Columbia, Canada. Most students are enrolled in five larger faculties: Arts, Science, Medicine, Applied Science and the Sauder School of Business. The university is well-known for its research output nationally, with U.S. News & World Report ranking its global research repution at 35 among all universities.[1] The university enrolled nearly 51,000 students, and it ranked 31 among universities worldwide according to U.S. News & World Report's 2016 rankings.[1]
