Ramapo College (formally Ramapo College of New Jersey or RCNJ) is a public liberal arts and professional studies institution of the New Jersey system of higher education, located in Mahwah, New Jersey, United States, near the Ramapo Mountains. Organized into five interdisciplinary schools offering more than 30 programs, Ramapo College's offerings are complemented by lectures, performances, and off-campus experiences. The university enrolled more than 6,000 students, and it ranked 27 among Northern regional universities and was eighth among "Top Public Schools" according to U.S. News & World Report's 2016 rankings.[1]
