History

Lab Technologies SA was founded in Switzerland in 2016.[1]

In June 2023, Italian healthcare technology group GPI Group (GPI S.p.A.) appeared to agree to acquire Lab Technologies. GPI noted "[t]he focus of interest is to make this company a part of the Gpi Group because of its strategic importance for the growth of the LIS area."[2]

Smartlis

Smartlis is a web-based laboratory information system (LIS) for "labs that are willing to adopt a new information system that overcomes the current limitations with a medium/long term investment to grant lab evolution in a competitive and dynamic context."[3] The software is available under the software as a service (SaaS) distribution model.
