Keynetix Ltd. developed and distributed geotechnical and geoenvironmental data management software solutions.

History

Keynetix Ltd. was formally founded in June 2000.[2]

In May 2019, Bentley Systems, Inc., a developer of infrastructure software, announced it had acquired Keynetix, noting that "the addition of Keynetix software expands Bentley's geotechnical offerings and accelerates Bentley's vision of enabling subsurface digital twins for infrastructure projects and assets."[1]

Technology and products

KeyLAB

KeyLAB was a Microsoft Excel-integrated laboratory information management system (LIMS) "built specifically for geotechnical and construction laboratories."[3] Keynetix describes the system as using "one protected worksheet (so only the system administrator can change it) for inputting test results, outputting to one or more sheets and enables wholesale changes of project details, making client-specific reports easy to handle."[4]

KeyLAB still appears to be maintained by Bentley Systems, Inc.. See their record for more details.
