Western Sydney University, formerly University of Western Sydney, is a public university in the Greater Western region of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The university also has campuses in Bankstown, Blacktown, Campbelltown, Hawkesbury, Parramatta, and Penrith. Western Sydney is organized into 24 distinct schools, institutes, centers, and groups offering a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs. The university ranked 19 among all national universities according to U.S. News & World Report's 2016 rankings.[1]
