History
The company was formally founded in Maryland in October 2015.[1]
On June 11, 2020, Maryland's Medical Cannabis Commission found that Green Analytics MD, then a franchisee of Steep Hill, Inc., was not operating independently based on the requirements of the program. The resolution was that Green Analytics would have to terminate its licensing agreement with Steep Hill and not renew it, as well as cease doing business as "Steep Hill Maryland."[2] The company since has not created its own website, but the lab still retains its Cannabis testing license under that new name (as of July 2022)[3] and is still presumably running.
