University of Nebraska - Omaha, often referred to as UNO, is a public research university located in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. UNO is organized into six schools offering more than 200 academic programs.[1] UNO is classified as a research university with moderate research activity by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.[2] The university enrolled more than 15,500 students according to U.S. News & World Report's 2016 rankings.[3]
