conjoon is free open-source web-based personal information management software.

Product history

conjoon started off as an e-mail client with project names "Intrabuild" and "ongoo." Work began in the summer of 2007, headed by Thorsten Suckow-Homberg. On November 26, 2008, the project changed names to "conjoon," and less than a month later the first public open-source release was made as version 0.1a2.[1][2] On March 1, 2010, a clean version 0.1 was released. Work has continued since.

Hardware/software requirements

While client-side software can be installed on multiple platforms, server-side software installations are currently only supported on Linux-based systems.

Installation requirements for conjoon include:

  • Apache web server with mod_rewrite and support for .htaccess files
  • PHP 5.2.5 or greater
  • MySQL 5.x or greater
