Open Atrium is free web-based open-source project and collaboration management software with content management features and is most notably a Drupal distribution.
Product history
The Open Atrium project was started in 2009 by open-source product development and consultant company Development Seed. A series of alphas and betas were released in 2009 and 2010. On February 22, 2011 web application development company Phase2 Technology bought the rights to Open Atrium from Development Seed.[2] A stable 1.0 release finally arrived via the software's new owners on July 18, 2011.[1]

Hardware/software requirements
Server-side requirements for installing Open Atrium are similar to a Drupal installation:
- PHP 5.2.x or greater
- PHP GD extension
- MySQL 5.0.41 or greater
- Apache with mod_rewrite module for clean urls or Nginx, using clean urls with php-fpm
