Ventyx, Inc. developed and distributed automation and enterprise asset management software and services, including a laboratory informatics software solution for mining and metal processing laboratories.
History
On May 5, 2010, the ABB Group announced it had acquired Atlanta, Georgia-based Ventyx, Inc. for more than $1 billion.[2][3]
On May 9, 2011, the ABB Group announced it had acquired Mincom Pty. Ltd. and would be integrating it with its subsidiary Ventyx, Inc.[4][5] On February 6, 2012, ABB announced it had "completed the organizational integration of Mincom."[6]
On January 30, 2015, ABB announced Ventyx would become ABB Enterprise Software[1], essentially becoming fully absorbed into ABB along with CCLAS.[7]
Technology and products
CCLAS
CCLAS was a laboratory information management system (LIMS) for mining companies, "built to ensure delivery of consistently high quality products."[8] It is now officially an ABB product.
