J Street Technology, Inc. develops and distributes software solutions, including laboratory informatics and custom software solutions.

History

J Street Technology, Inc. was formally founded in August 1997.[1]

In July 2022, J Street Technology purchased the laboratory information management system MSC-LIMS from Mountain States Consulting, LLC (source: personal correspondence).[2] According to J Street, "The owner of MSC, Rick Collard, is partnering with J Street to provide software support, help us understand the system, and maintain some communication with existing customers" (source: personal correspondence).[3]

J Street LIMS

J Street LIMS is a GALP-compliant Windows-based LIMS designed for "small to mid-sized labs" in the "water/wastewater testing, commercial environmental testing, food testing, petrochemical testing, and many other" industries.[3]

J Street LIMS single-user license: $999/year

  • includes license to install system on a single workstation, the LIMS Messaging component, and unlimited technical support and version updates

J Street LIMS multi-user license:

2 to 5 users at $899/User/Year

6 to 10 users at $849/User/Year

11+ licenses at $799/User/Year

The company notes, in regards to any customizations you may have, that "[a]lthough version updates are included with your subscription, we do charge a small fee when we release updates to ensure your customizations carry forward into the new version correctly.
