University of New Mexico (also referred to as UNM) is a public research university located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. The university also has campuses in Gallup, Los Alamos, Rio Rancho, Taos, and Los Lunas. The university offers 94 bachelor's, 71 master's and 37 doctoral degrees across its 12 colleges and schools.[1] UNM is classified as a research university with very high research activity by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.[2] The university enrolled more than 27,000 students, and it ranked 176 among U.S. universities and 93 among "Top Public Schools" according to U.S. News & World Report's 2016 rankings.[3]
