Kent State University (KSU) is a public research university in Kent, Ohio, United States. The university also includes seven regional campuses in Northeast Ohio and additional facilities in the region and internationally. Since its founding in 1910, the university has grown to include more than 200 baccalaureate and graduate programs of study in the arts and sciences and offers a variety of research opportunities. The university enrolled more than 29,700 students, and it ranked 188 among the nation's universities in U.S. News & World Report's 2016 rankings.[1]
