History

Sometime in 2014, Camin Cargo Control began demoing behind the scenes its RackSpace-hosted NetSynergy product, described as a "full-featured, web-based laboratory information management system (LIMS), developed exclusively for petroleum laboratories, refineries and terminals."^[1] In early 2016, Camin debuted its SaaS-based NetSynergy at the Pittcon laboratory informatics conference.^[2]^[3] As of March 31, 2016^[update], NetSynergy has not been added as an offering on the Camin website, however.

POLARIS

POLARIS is a software platform designed to manage many of the laboratory and logistical tasks performed by "international trading companies, major oil companies, domestic and foreign refiners as well as an increasing number of clients on the food and general cargo side of the business."^[4]
