History
Margy Tech was established on April 14, 2013[citation needed] to create comprehensive software solutions for the healthcare industry, especially solutions for small- and medium-sized hospitals and laboratories.
Other historic dates include[citation needed]:
- The first version of iLIS XPS was implemented on October 21, 2013.
- The first version of iLIS PRO was implemented on November 6, 2013.
- The first version of iLIS Boss was launched on April 14, 2014.
- Margy Tech became a private limited company on June 6, 2014.
- The first version of iLIS Galaxy was implemented on October 2, 2014.
Technology and products
iLIS
iLIS (Integrated Laboratory Information System) is modular, SaaS-based laboratory informatics software designed "to manage the entire operations of a laboratory" for small-, medium-, and large-scale pathology and diagnostic laboratories.[1] The company markets the product as a laboratory information system (LIS) though it has some of the non-clinical functionality of a laboratory information management system (LIMS).
Main features of the LIS include a modular, customizable structure; integrated design; and multi-level security. Margy Tech uses a virtual machine, collocated with an ISP, to host the web-based applications of its clients.[1]
