Haemonetics Corporation develops and distributes blood management hardware and software.

History

On February 1, 2010, the Haemonetics Corporation announced it had agreed to acquire Global Med Technologies, Inc. and its subsidiaries, including INLOG SA.[1] The deal was finalized the acquisition on April 1, with Global Med (and thus INLOG) becoming "a wholly-owned subsidiary of Haemonetics."[2] INLOG was then referred to as "Inlog - a Haemonetics Company."[3]

On August 31, 2014, the INLOG website was shut down and the company and its products now seem to be fully absorbed into Haemonetics Corporation.[4]

Technology and products

EdgeLab and Sapanet

EdgeLab is a laboratory information system (LIS) (marketed as a LIMS) that "can automate and streamline your laboratory processes — from order entry to billing and business performance management."[5]

Sapanet is a LIS-like workflow management system "designed to help automate and streamline the day-to-day operations of hospitals, donor centers, and laboratories."[6]
