Tracks is a web-based project management application that's based on a Ruby on Rails framework. The design of Tracks is significantly influenced by a "getting things done" methodology, introduced by author David Allen, and the GTD Todo application. That methodology was introduced to the application in the form of three main components: next actions, contexts, and projects.[1]
Product history
The first release of Tracks was version 1.0, released on January 3, 2005.[2] That release was based on earlier work in late 2004 of an application called GTD Todo.[3][4][5]

Requirements for this software to run properly include:
1. SQLite3, MySQL or PostgreSQL
2. Ruby 1.8.7, RubyGems 1.3.7 or 1.5.0, Rake (see below)
