LII:The Practical Guide to the U.S. Physician Office Laboratory/Addendum

From LIMSWiki
Jump to navigationJump to search

This is an addendum to the Laboratory Informatics Institute's white paper The Practical Guide to the U.S. Physician Office Laboratory. It contains information about conferences, consultants, organizations, and published materials that could potentially help those operating and working in a physician office laboratory (POL). Much of the content isn't specific to the POL, but it may prove useful to the POL's various personnel.

Note: This content was found via web searches and represents available resources that could potentially help POL staff. The appearance of an entity should not be construed as a recommendation for that entity by the Laboratory Informatics Institute.

While this arguably may not be an authoritative list of conferences relating to clinical laboratories, reference laboratories, physician office laboratories, or other aspects of clinical laboratory work, an attempt has been made to make it thorough. That said, the following are additional tools which may help you find additional clinical laboratory-related conferences:

  1. HONmeeting and its database of medical meetings
  2. ResearchBib and its research conference seeker
  3. WikiCFP and its conference and workshop listing
