History
In October 2014, Andrew Alliance won the Robotics Business Review Game Changer Award for industrial productivity with its Andrew automated pipetting robot.[1] The company claims that since then its Andrew robot has been adopted by numerous top companies and academic research institutes.[2]
In June 2018, Andrew Alliance raised approximately $14 million in Series C funding to expand their offerings in robotic liquid handling.[2] Additional expansion occurred in February 2019 when Andrew Alliance partnered with Waters Corporation "to improve laboratory operations in the field of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry."[3]
Technology and products
OneLab
OneLab is a software solution that has some of the functionality of an electronic laboratory notebook as well as a laboratory information management system.[4] Its main purpose appears to be managing the design and execution of laboratory protocols. The software can be installed locally or hosted in the cloud.[4]
