Elmwood Solutions, Inc. (doing business as Pure Harvest Software) develops and distributes the agricultural software solution Pure Harvest.
History
The company was originally founded in 1993.[1] The first release of Pure Harvest was for the Minnesota Crop Improvement Association in 1996. In the subsequent years, numerous other labs began using the software, including the Kentucky State Seed Lab, Virginia State Seed Lab, Missouri Department of Agriculture, and Ransom Seed Lab.[2]
Technology and products
Pure Harvest
Pure Harvest is LIMS-like software that "manages field inspection and seed testing processes and provides timely and accurate lab results to external customers."[3] The company states "Pure Harvest is used in private, state and federal labs across the U.S.," and that the software's processes "are based carefully on [Association of Official Seed Analysts] procedures and rules."[3] It appears the software is hosted via the software as a service model in the Amazon cloud.[2][4]
