Toronto Research Chemicals, Inc. (TRC) manufactures analytical testing products and provides analytical testing services.

History

The company was formally founded in October 1983.[1] In August 2019, LGC Standards Canada Limited completed the acquisition of a majority stake in TRC and its subsidiary Synfine Research Limited.[2] Since the acquisition, the website for Synfine Research now forwards to the TRC website[3], and it appears Synfine has been absorbed into TRC.

The lab used to perform chemical Cannabis laboratory testing and extraction for the country's various cannabis programs[4] but no longer seems licensed to do so as of July 2022.
