History
The company was formally founded in Michigan in March 2011.[1]
In August 2019, Michigan’s Marijuana Regulatory Agency (MRA) filed a formal complaint against Iron, alleging failure to report vital results in the state's tracking system. Their license was temporarily suspended. In October, a settlement was reached between MRA and Iron, with Iron having to pay a fine of $100,000 and agree to a variety of corrective actions before the license would be reinstated.[2][3]
