History
Moonchase was established in 2009.
Technology and products
Lab Online is a web-enabled suite of solutions for medical laboratories, based on Java Enterprise technology. It can be configured for use in hospitals as well as private laboratories. It offers such features as order entry, sample collection management and results reporting, allowing users to ignore background dispatching to one or more LIS systems.
Lab Online communicates with HIS and LIS systems using HL7 messages, following IHE guidelines. Without additional login, it can be securely called from EHR systems, preserving patient context. It includes full traceability of users' views and updates.
