NoemaLife SpA developed and distributed healthcare informatics software solutions for clinical healthcare providers and laboratories.
History
In June 2016, Dedalus SpA announced it had completed the acquisition of NoemaLife SpA, stating "[t]he integration of these two companies is consistent with our reciprocal values: continuous investments in innovation, a high level of service to clients, and respect for the rules."[1] As of October 2017, it appears Dedalus is still offering NoemaLife's DNLab LIS.
Technology and products
DNLab and HALIA
DNLab was a laboratory information system (LIS) designed to promote "the organizational evolution of modern clinical laboratories."[2]
HALIA was a "middleware" program that runs between a LIS and instruments, one that "allows central management of all pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical instruments supporting global control of processes and guaranteeing a complete response for the connectivity demands of analysis labs."[3]
