InnovaQor, Inc. develops and distributes health informatics software solutions.
History
The core of the company was founded in 1999 as a mining business, but it changed directions in November 2004 and became VisualMED Clinical Solutions Corporation, a medical information company. On June 25, 2021, VisualMED Clinical Solutions Corporation closed the acquisition of Rennova Health, Inc.'s technology and software division, which included subsidiaries Health Technology Solutions, Inc.; Medical Mime, Inc.; ClinLab, Inc.; Advanced Molecular Services Group, Inc.; Genomas, Inc.; and CollabRx, Inc. On September 8, 2021, VisualMED changed its name to InnovaQor, Inc.[1] Rennova characterized the move as a separation of its technology and software division and stated that Rennova "remains a significant investor in InnovaQor."[2]
ClinLab, Inc.
ClinLab, Inc. and the ClinLab laboratory information system (LIS) were previously acquired by Medytox Solutions, Inc. on April 3, 2014.[3] In January 2015, a soft merger agreement between Medytox and CollabRx was made to "allow secure funding to CollabRx so as to help it continue its operation."[4] The companies made a definitive decision to merge in April[5] and finalized the decision in October.[6][7] ClinLab eventually became a subsidiary of Rennova Health, Inc., which was formally founded on November 2, 2015 out of the merger between CollabRx, Inc. and Medytox Solutions, Inc.[8][6][7] With the June 2021 sale to InnovaQor, it became an InnovaQor subsidiary.[1]
