North Dakota State University (NDSU), is a public research university that sits on a 258-acre campus in Fargo, in the U.S. state of North Dakota. The institution was originally founded as an agricultural college. NDSU is classified as a research university with high research activity by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.[1] The university enrolled more than 14,500 students, and it ranked 101 among "Top Public Schools" according to U.S. News & World Report's 2016 rankings.[2]
