The National Agribusiness Technology Center (NATC, or sometimes TNATC) is a non-profit corporation "dedicated to promoting the use of advanced products in protecting our food supply chain."[1]
History
The NATC was officially set up in 2008 "with the intent to research, analyze, filter, and distribute information regarding agricultural technology."[2]
Software
In the mid-2000s, IT services firm and developer Computer Aid, Inc. developed animal population, laboratory, and plant software for the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA) via contract.[3][4] The State of Pennsylvania eventually donated that software to the NATC, which today provides a free license of the software under the integrated AgraGuard platform to state and local governments[5][6], with Computer Aid working with the NATC as a software implementer of its originally developed software offerings.[5][7]
National Agribusiness used to offer USADogs and USAPets, applications for handling kennel licensing and emergency pet tracking[8], but they appear to have been phased out sometime in 2016.

AgraGuard
AgraGuard is a suite of Microsoft-based applications for agriculture departments and agencies in the U.S. The non-profit's website originally stated that the software license to AgraGuard is freely available to public sector agencies, though the recipient agency remains responsible for their own costs related to hardware and software infrastructure, including customization costs.[8] However, the website was updated in 2016, and it's not publicly made clear if this still holds true.
It consists of the following components:

- USAMeals, a "web-based application used to manage multiple federally funded programs such as the National School Lunch Program and The Emergency Food Assistance Program."[9]
