LabHQ LIMS
LabHQ LIMS is a configurable laboratory information management system that helps laboratories to store, process, report and analyse quality control data in a secure electronic environment [9]. Users can administer the system themselves and manage products, specifications, test methods and user accounts [9]. The reporting function in LabHQ allows users to customise reports as well as generate trend reports [9]. As a hosted solution, users can access their data wherever they have an internet connection [9]. LabHQ also contains features such as audit trails and electronic signatures for GMP regulated industry users [9]. There are four modules that can be added to LabHQ LIMS: Stock Management, Equipment Maintenance, Stability Study Management and Environmental Monitoring. Companies that have provided video testimonials of LabHQ include Huddersfield Pharmacy Services, Morris Lubricants and Broughton Laboratories [10].
Stock Management Module
The Stock Management Module integrates with LabHQ LIMS to provide users with the ability to trace stock used against test results and record in the audit trail [11]. The main features allow users to track inventory, stock levels and status, notifications for expiry and low stock levels, generate stock labels and test in-house made stock before use in the lab [12].
Equipment Maintenance Module
The Equipment Maintenance Module integrates with LabHQ LIMS to provide users with the ability to trace equipment used against test results and record in the audit trail [12]. The main features allow users to track equipment status, create maintenance and calibration schedules, print equipment labels and generate service history reports [12].
Stability Study Management Module
The Stability Study Management Module allows users to create study protocols to track the product, storage conditions, time-points, testing regimes and number of samples stored. Templates can be created for study protocols so that they can be reused for future batches. The module integrates with LabHQ LIMS and submits a sample for testing once it is pulled from storage via the stability study management module. Users can also receive notifications for each time-point and trend data [13].
Environmental Monitoring Module
The Environmental Monitoring Module is designed for sterile manufacturers to track batch and non-batch related monitoring. Users can create schedules and alert to monitor locations and operators. The main features of the module are the ability to add multiple tests when growth is identified, be notified when test results have reached alert and action levels, raise and rack investigations [14].
