History

LabHQ Ltd. was a sister company1 of Broughton Laboratories Limited that developed the LabHQ LIMS.[1][2][3] In November 2012, Broughton Laboratories incorporated new sister company SkySource Ltd.[4][5] The LabHQ LIMS was then transferred to SkySource, and LabHQ Ltd. officially dissolved on March 5, 2013.[6]

Sometime in 2014, SkySource Ltd. became Broughton Software Ltd.[7][8]

LabHQ LIMS

LabHQ LIMS is a configurable laboratory information management system that helps laboratories to store, process, report and analyse quality control data in a secure electronic environment [9]. Users can administer the system themselves and manage products, specifications, test methods and user accounts [9]. The reporting function in LabHQ allows users to customise reports as well as generate trend reports [9]. As a hosted solution, users can access their data wherever they have an internet connection [9]. LabHQ also contains features such as audit trails and electronic signatures for GMP regulated industry users [9].
