pdv-software GmbH develops and distributes reporting, production, and laboratory informatics software.
History
The company began in 1980 as PDV-Systeme, focusing on both the hardware and software side of development. In April 2006, pdv-software split off from PDV-Systeme in order to better focus on software projects and develop them on a leaner budget.[1]

pdv-lims 3 is a laboratory information management system (LIMS) designed to better "manage the costs incurred in testing and contract laboratories."[2]
