SAIL is a laboratory information system (LIS) that "optimizes patient workflow in both inpatient and outpatient scenarios including order entry, order and label printing, sampling, sample scanning, billing, electronic billing, reporting of results, quality control and more."^[1]

SAIL HIS appears to be an add-on that allows integration with a hospital information system.^[2]
