Materials Informatics Platform (MIP) is a software platform that "enables organizations to implement all the benefits of materials informatics in a streamlined and accessible way." The company adds that the platform "brings together all of the key features you would need from a laboratory information management system (LIMS) system and also the rapid development capabilities of artificial intelligence and machine learning."^[2] Finally, the company notes that the platform is designed to replace "legacy LIMS systems, electronic laboratory notebooks, statistical packages, spreadsheets and all the efforts to coordinate data science expertise into the workflow of materials scientists."^[3]
