History
Krones was formally founded in 1951. The company reported 2015 sales totaling 3.174 billion euros.[1]
Prior offerings
SitePilot was a software product line that included many different applications, primarily geared towards the food and beverage industry. The suite included a manufacturing execution system, process control system, warehouse management system, and other offerings.[2] It's SitePilot Quality solution was a laboratory information management system (LIMS) that "records all quality-related information in a factory."[3]
