The LabPlus software was originally developed by the former LabPlus Technologies Company and its U.S. branch LabPlus Technologies, Inc.[1] Those companies ceased operations in mid- to late 2013[2][3][4]

In the summer of 2016, developer Logiq Innovations, Inc. (formerly Publius Media[5]) began advertising the LabPlus LIMS again, though it's connection to the former LabPlus Technologies Company is not clear.[6]

LabPlus is a web-based laboratory information management system (LIMS) "designed to improve productivity and operation of laboratories."[7]
