Keane, Inc. developed IT services and solutions for numerous industries, including the healthcare and laboratory industries.
History
Keane International was officially acquired by NTT DATA Corporation on January 3, 2011, though Keane was allowed to function as a separate legal entity.[1] However, on February 28, 2012, NTT DATA Corporation announced it would begin consolidating all of its acquisitions into one organizational structure operating under the NTT DATA name. The consolidation was scheduled to begin on April 1, 2012.[2] It's not clear when exactly the consolidation was completed, but the Keane domain and identity disappeared sometime between September and December of 2012[3], with the emergence of Keane Optimum as simply the "Optimum" suite of applications.
