Canadian Centre for Cannabis Innovation (C3i), Inc. (formerly the Canadian Centre for Cannabis Research Ltd.) is described as a not-for-profit collective of "local and national scientific partnership around the development and commercialization of cannabis-derived health products"[1], which "connects companies developing value-added cannabis products with the right people and resources to take them to market."[2]
History
The company was formally founded in 2017 as the Canadian Centre for Cannabis Research Ltd. In November 2019, it changed its name to Canadian Centre for Cannabis Innovation (C3i), Inc.[3] The lab used to perform chemical Cannabis laboratory testing and extraction for the country's various cannabis programs[4] but no longer seems licensed to do so as of July 2022.
