University of Maryland, Baltimore (colloquially known as The Founding Campus, UMB, or UMAB) is a public medical- and legal-focused university located in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It comprises some of the oldest professional schools of dentistry, law, medicine, pharmacy, social work, and nursing in the nation. It is the original campus of the University System of Maryland. The university is organized into six schools. The university enrolled 6,329 students, and its nursing programs all ranked in the top 10 according to U.S. News & World Report's 2016 rankings.[1]
