Summary

Figure 4. Terminology used in the context of defining identity for Records. For each RecordType that is used in the synchronization procedure, its identity needs to be defined in what we call the Registered Identifiable. The scanner will fill the values of the properties of the Registered Identifiable and, in that process, create an Identifiable. This Identifiable can be used by the crawler to run a query on LinkAhead. If a Record matching the properties of the Identifiable already exists in LinkAhead, it will be retrieved and used to update the Record. Otherwise, a new Record will be inserted. |
