History

The company was formally founded in October 1983.[2] In August 2019, LGC Standards Canada Limited completed the acquisition of a majority stake in TRC and its subsidiary Synfine Research Limited.[3] Since the acquisition, the website for Synfine Research now forwards to the TRC website and a page about Synfine Research's services.[4]
