Computer Sciences Corporation — doing business as CSC — develops and distributes the laboratory information management system (LIMS) software CSC LIMS.
History
On July 31, 2011, CSC officially acquired iSOFT Group Limited, a developer of heath care informatics products, including the i.Laboratory suite of applications.[2]
In May 2015, the company announced it would be splitting into two entities (CSC and CSRA), along with other restructuring changes, to better divide their offerings and service, following on the heels of an $8 million dollar loss.[3] A year later, the company announced intentions to merge with Hewlett Packard Enterprise[4], completing the merger in April 2017 to form DXC Technology, an IT services business.[1] With the unveiling of its new website, CSC's software offering CSC LIMS seems to have disappeared, suggesting the company no longer markets it.
