San Diego State University (SDSU or San Diego State) is a public research university in San Diego, California and is the largest and oldest higher education institution in San Diego County. The school offers nearly 160 undergraduate programs, 100 graduate programs, 16 pre-professional programs, and a variety of continuing education and certificate programs.[1] The university enrolled more than 34,000 students, and it ranked 146 among national universities and 74 in "Top Public Schools" according to U.S. News & World Report's 2016 rankings.[2]
