The software continued to be developed by the University of Manchester, which also hosts openCDMS systems for medical research organizations in the U.K.

In September 2013, the University of Manchester declared that it would be shutting down its openCDMS system by the end of 2014, and presumably with it development of the software.[2] Version 1.10.2 was the last public release, made on December 4, 2014.
