Kalenis is an open-source laboratory information management system (LIMS) plus enterprise resource planning (ERP) software package described as being designed "with the aim of supporting all laboratory processes [and] prioritizing the integrity, traceability and accessibility of information."[2]
Product history
The first commits for Kalenis arrived on BitBucket in October 2017.[1]
Though it's not made explicitly clear, Kalenis' copyright information, programming language, and dependencies suggest that it's highly likely that Kalenis is a fork of the GNU LIMS open-source project, started by Sebastián Marró and Luis Falcon in 2013.[3]
