Technology and products
AgilePort and MetaField FIMS/LIMS
AgilePort is an SDMS-like software system that provides document management functionality for architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) firms. Like an SDMS, it allows full searches across the text of contained documents, location-based searches, and other searching options. The software also offers draft tracking, versioning, retention scheduling, and alerts.[2]
MetaField is a field information management system (FIMS) with a complete laboratory information management system (LIMS) module that can handle "a broad variety of materials and test regimes."[3] The company states that as a whole, the combined MetaField software "serves the needs of multidisciplinary civil, engineering, testing, and environmental consulting firms that conduct significant operations in the field and in the lab where the remote gathering of testing information, materials samples, special inspections, discrepancy management and construction observation data is required."[4]
The company offers both solutions under the software as a service (SaaS) distribution model.
