On May 9, 2012, Rescentris officially announced the name change of its business to ELN Technologies, Inc.[1][2] , though the company had unofficially been using the name in press releases in April.[3][4] This change didn't last long, however, as CERF ELN and ELN Technologies began to be absorbed into a new venture called irisnote.[5] In October of 2013, following the unfortunate death of the company's primary owner, irisnote ceased operations and work on the irisnote product ended.
