Applied Biosystems, Inc. manufactured a wide variety of laboratory equipment, and it developed and distributes laboratory informatics software solutions. Invitrogen Corporation acquired the company in November 2008 to form Life Technologies Corporation.[1][2]
LabVantage Solutions, Inc. purchased SQL*LIMS from Life Technologies in 2009.[3]
